I always have adored dulquer until Shreyas Raghunath, saw premam, 88 times, managed to educate me and convert me to a hard core nivin pauly fan. At this point of time, nivin has a slight edge over dulquer, in my eyes. Unfortunately there was no scope for hero workship. Pathetic writing for a most charming actor n star. After a protracted 'chocalatey' beginning, there was some glimmer of hope until the interval. The unsittable post interval, narrates an arbitrary, adhoc, fractured, incoherent, uninspiring, feel good film😢. Wish the director sees, It is a wonderful life, and really understand what it is to make a feel good film. 'Ithu Naraka Cinema alle?'

King Khan returns after an exile of six years
While I have enjoyed Sharukh Khan since I first saw him in Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, I recognized his greatness when he enacted Kabir Khan in Chak De India. The role was very much influenced by Denzel Washington in Remember the Titans. To Shah Rukh's credit he recreated the spirit of that character but there was not an iota of Denzel's acting or mannerism.
As Amjad Khan in Hey Ram!!, you could not take away the honesty and the humaneness of the character. How can one ever forget the innocence of the Kabhi haan and Kabhi Na. Could there have been a more beautiful way to propose?
And then after the responsible My name is Khan, Shah rukh went on to produce hits that are eminently forgettable.
I personally thought he was lost forever.
Well I am so glad to have enjoyed Sharukh's performance in Fan. A great performance which will gladden the hearts of his fans. Ironically a movie about himself is not narcissistic.
The sunken eyes, the protruding teeth, the awkward gait, the dignified walk, vs a fidgety walk, the variations in the voice, subtlety runs through.
While Shah Rukh, as the fan, could be variation of Rahul in Darr, Shah Rukh as the actor, feels like Dharmendra. Even without a beard, Shah Rukh comes across as his most masculine, onscreen role and to me reminded me of Dharmendra of Phool Aur Pathar(The most handsome avtaar of Dharmendra).
While the movie could have benefited with some better BGM and less of verbal chatter especially in the second half, you still do not want to miss this movie for Shah Rukh.
Strong enough reasons, Why people may still be in love with Shah Rukh Khan!!!!
