I am pleased to share the Youtube link to the Bengali movie.
While i am a great fan of Rajini, if you do watch, Nayak, you can appreciate, why Uttam Kumar's Style quotient is ahead. Uttam Kumar's acting is equally top notch. Saumitra chatterjee, is another fantastic actor. With his voice, had he come to Bollywood, i am not really sure, if Amtiabh would have been as popular as he is. to me Uttam Kumar and Saumitra chatterjee will always be the best actors this country ever produced.
Satyajit Ray, remains my most favourite director.
The story revolves around a matinee idol on a 24-hour train journey from Kolkata to Delhi to receive a national award. However, he ends up revealing his mistakes, insecurities and regrets to a young journalist, who realises that behind all his arrogant facade lies a deeply troubled man as his life’s story is gradually revealed through seven flashbacks and two dreams.
