How do these professionals arrive? Are they born? Do they evolve?

The integrity and fearlessness that imbues them with the character, to deal with the problem on the merits of the problem.
The restlessness to complete the problem arising out of internal compulsions.
Inventive enough to find ways and means to achieve goals, despite their limitations
And above all, no fear of failure.
The professionals reward for work is, the work itself.
As Jonas Salk put it,
The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more.
